Mooring Force Monitor |

 Datawell's Mooring Monitor is a solid, reliable, and integrated instrument, mounted into the mooring line, that measures and registers the mooring force on the (Directional) Waverider or navigation buoy.
- Available models measure a maximum of 250 kg, 500 kg, or 1000 kg
- Sample frequency: 1 Hz
- Resolution: 10-bit ADC
- Storage capacity suffices for 28.000 data sets

Mooring systems |

 Dedicated mooring packages are available depending on buoy type and local conditions. Important engineering parameters are: depth, current profile, tidal range and maximum expected wave height. Main components are:
- elastic section: rubber cord (safety line optional)
- sinking section: aluminum sinker weights of 1 kg
- floating section: polypropylene rope
- special terminals
- floats

Elastic Mooring for Navigation Buoys |

 Datawell rubbercord for navigation buoys have shown to substantially reduce wear by keeping the mooringline under permanent tension. Key features are:
- Simple and robust design
- large ratio of maximum cord length and minimum cord length
